Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider Residency

We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis. We look forward to hearing from you. 

Applicants currently enrolled in an APP Program

  • Applicants must document that they will successfully complete a Physician Assistant program that is ARC-PA accredited or a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program accredited by ACEN or CCNE.  A letter from the candidate’s APP Program Director that they are a student in good standing will fulfill this requirement.
  • PA applicants must be NCCPA certified and FNP applicants must be certified by either ANCC or AANP at the time of enrollment into the residency.
  • Required:
    • CV/resume
    • Written personal statement including background and interest in Family Medicine. This statement should include reflections of a candidate's educational and career goals and why they are interested in the residency program.
    • 3 letters of reference.
    • Letter from APP Program Director (in addition to the 3 letters of reference).
    • Photo (optional)
    • Interview with Residency Medical Director and selected faculty members.
  • Applicants should submit all materials within 6 weeks of indicating interest. 
  • Acceptance decisions will be made by the APP Residency Program Director.

Applicants who have graduated from an APP Program
